Lina is an associate in Fasken’s Life Sciences and Intellectual Property group. Her practice focuses on advising clients in the health and pharmaceutical sector on all matters relating to drug and medical device distribution, advertising, and market access. She also supports clients in mergers and acquisitions, providing guidance on regulatory considerations and IP‑related risks throughout the transaction process.
In addition to her regulatory work, Lina is a trademark agent with significant experience in cross‑border brand protection and IP development, including trademark prosecution, portfolio management, and strategic counselling for companies seeking to strengthen, commercialize, or expand their brands in Canada and internationally.
Lina holds both JD and BCL degrees from McGill University, allowing her to integrate common law and Québec civil law considerations into her advice. She is also actively engaged in diversity and inclusion initiatives within the legal community and the broader public.
