Lwazi-Lwandile Simelane is an associate in the Johannesburg Competition Law Team. She assists in providing competition law advice relating to merger control, prohibited practices, together with competition law litigation advisory services.
Lwazi-Lwandile also assists clients with general competition law advisory support, such as providing companies with competition law training at both the executive and administrative levels.
Her experience in competition law spans the following industries: private equity, banking, property, fast moving consumer goods, telecommunications, publishing and glass manufacturing. She has also had experience with various African competition authorities, including the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (“COMESA”), Botswana and eSwatini.
