Overview

Mackenzie is a compliance-minded, licensed paralegal who helps clients navigate the field of government ethics.

Using her strong understanding of federal, provincial, and municipal political systems, Mackenzie expertly guides clients through the development of lobbying mandates, jurisdictionally-specific filing requirements, and periodic registration maintenance. Mackenzie has experience working with lobbyists from all major Canadian jurisdictions and is able to anticipate and address client needs while helping them remain compliant. Throughout her tenure at Fasken, Mackenzie has also leveraged her communication skills to build relationships with provincial and federal regulators.

Although the bulk of her practice focuses on lobbying, Mackenzie also helps to maintain the internal Integrity Commissioner database and monitors legislative and policy-related proceedings to ensure that clients remain up-to-date on all matters of interest.
