Madison Milanczak is a recent graduate from Queen’s University, Faculty of Law. Prior to law school, she received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Sociology at Western University.
Madison was the President of the Black Students’ Association and Elected Councillor for the Student Union. As President and Co-founder of Black Future Lawyers Western, she values giving back to her community and mentoring aspiring law students. During the summer of 2024, she earned a certificate in Public International Law, spending five weeks in Berlin and visiting the United Nations, the International Court of Justice, and the International Criminal Court. During law school, she worked as a Student Caseworker at Queen’s Legal Aid, representing clients in small criminal and landlord-and-tenant board matters. Additionally, Madison volunteered as a Project Lead for ‘Employees with Disabilities’ with Pro Bono Students’ Canada. Notably, Madison was heavily involved with the Black Law Students’ Association of Canada, serving as the National Moot Director for the Julius Alexander Isaac Moot.
Madison summered with Fasken, during which she participated in the Firm’s Secondment Program and was seconded to Pro Bono Ontario.
