She has extensive experience in establishing and maintaining non-profit corporations and charities, including negotiating governance structure, by-law development, and extra-provincial registrations. She works closely with non-profit corporations seeking charitable registration and is intimately involved in negotiations and appeals with Canada Revenue Agency with respect to charity applications, audits and compliance related matters.
She also lends her expertise to mergers, amalgamations, re-organizations, conducting in-depth reviews of corporate records, identifying and rectifying outstanding corporate issues, preparing corporate documents, and dealing with post-closing matters.
