Marilou Simard’s practice focuses on all aspects of administrative law. She assists clients in the areas of access to information, municipal law, agricultural law and disciplinary law.
Marilou joined Fasken as a student in 2019. During her academic career, she articled for a Superior Court judge. She has also distinguished herself by her strong involvement in the student community. She served as Vice President of Internal Affairs for her student association and was involved in various committees, including the Model UN Committee and the Law and Technology Committee. In addition, Marilou attended the summer program at the China University of Political Science and Law where she received training on the Chinese legal system.
Before articling at Fasken, Marilou worked as a law student in the legal department of two large Québec companies in the media and pharmaceutical industries, respectively.
