Michelle graduated from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University, where she received the Honourable Angus L. MacDonald Prize.
During her studies, Michelle served as an academic peer mentor for first-year law students and volunteered with the Access to Justice and Law Reform Institute of Nova Scotia. She also spent a term at the Dalhousie Legal Aid Service, where she was exposed to a range of cases and assisted clients with various legal needs.
Prior to law school, Michelle completed a Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of British Columbia, majoring in Political Science. She also held various roles in retail banking and wealth management for over seven years.
In her spare time, Michelle enjoys dining at restaurants and exploring new cuisines while travelling.
