Fasken Martineau today announced the launch of its annual joint summer student program with UniCredit Bank.

London (UK) – Fasken Martineau, a leading international business law and litigation firm, today announced the launch of its annual joint summer student program with UniCredit Bank.

The program introduces sixth form students (in their final two years of secondary education) from some of London's least affluent areas to working in the law and finance industries.

The four-week program has an annual intake of four students, is structured around a series of targeted workshops and seminars and allows students to gain on-the-job experience. Students will spend two weeks with Fasken Martineau and two weeks with UniCredit Bank.

"We look forward to welcoming this year's students and hope that this collaborative approach taken by Fasken Martineau and UniCredit Bank will offer students valuable insight into the interaction between business and the law," said Gary Howes, Fasken Martineau's Managing Partner for the London Office.

The program will be led at Fasken Martineau by Francis Nwokedi, Partner, with assistance from associates Helen Sutcliffe and Gonyi Ajawin.
