Dufferin County Council confirmed Guy Giorno as the new county integrity commissioner on June 9. A well-known attorney and Conservative political activist, Giorno has a wealth of political experience. Currently residing in Ottawa, he is a partner at business law firm Fasken Martineau.
On Monday (July 18), Orangeville council revisited the issue and voted in favour of using the county’s integrity commissioner on a case-by-case basis.
