The Global Competition Review quotes Toronto lawyer Huy Do in an article on the Canadian government to review the competition regime.
Toronto-based Fasken partner Huy Do said legislative change should “only come about after a thorough review and consultation process to ensure that we have the right set of competition laws for Canada”.
He noted that it is unclear at this point what the scope of the committee’s review will be, and that the review itself does not mean that legislative changes are imminent.
