National Post quotes Ottawa/Toronto lawyer Clifford Sosnow in an article on sanctioned individuals not automatically banned from entering Canada.
The RCMP has said it has frozen $122.3 million worth of assets from people sanctioned relating to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, as of Aug. 9. But Clifford Sosnow, a trade lawyer and partner at Fasken, previously told the National Post that it’s likely there is money being held by sanctioned individuals that has not been identified by the banks.
