Sixty-Five Fasken Lawyers are Recognized in the 2023 Edition of Legal 500 Canada

Five practice areas were designated as Tier 1, and seven lawyers were named to the new Legal 500 Canada Hall of Fame.

Toronto (Canada) – Fasken has received a number of accolades in the 2023 edition of Legal 500 Canada.

The Firm was highlighted in 31 practice areas, five of which were designated as Tier 1. The Firm’s practice areas that achieved the highest recognition are Indigenous Law, Labour and Employment, Mining, Telecoms and Dispute Resolution (British Columbia).

Sixty-five Fasken lawyers were recognized, with 35 listed as Leading Individuals, 16 chosen as Next Generation Partners, and nine associates selected as Rising Stars.

New to the Legal 500 Canada guide this year, seven Fasken lawyers were named to the Hall of Fame, including: Kevin O’Callaghan (Indigenous Law), Geoff Cowper, KC (Dispute Resolution), Tracey Cohen, KC (Dispute Resolution), John Turner (Energy: Mining), Rosalind Cooper (Environment), Brian Burkett (Labour and Employment), and Karen Sargeant (Labour and Employment).
