Ottawa Partner and Chair of Fasken’s International Trade and Investment Group, Clifford Sosnow, comments on the possible conditions Canada must meet for securing a new trade deal with the US, in an interview with BNN Bloomberg.
“The issue is tariffs and the US President said it, and then the issue becomes what is included in these tariffs, and how this is addressed. Steel and aluminum, the auto industry, and China are all very big deals for the President. If those three things can be addressed, then we have significant progress in moving towards a deal,” said Partner, Clifford Sosnow.
