Calgary Partner and Co-Leader of Fasken’s Insolvency and Restructuring Group, Robyn Gurofsky, describes the growing impatience shown by lenders in insolvency proceedings, in an article published in Lexpert.

She outlines the critical importance for debtors in difficulty to reach out early and proactively to their creditors.

“The earlier you are in touch with your creditors, the better. If you wait until you can’t make your next payroll, your optionality becomes extremely limited,” said Partner, Robyn Gurofsky.
