Fasken is proud to be participating in the official program of the 2026 Québec Agtech Symposium(in French only), a must‑attend event for leaders in agricultural innovation, to be held on March 31 in Repentigny, Québec.
As part of the symposium, Fasken will host a panel entitled “Financing and Intellectual Property: Tailored Approaches for Different Stages of Development.” The discussion will feature our own Nicolas Charest and will explore strategic approaches to structuring financing and managing intellectual property for agtech innovations at various stages of growth.
This participation aligns with Fasken’s AgTech initiative within the Firm’s Agribusiness, Food & Beverage Group. It reflects our commitment to supporting emerging businesses in the agtech sector while actively contributing to the development of sustainable and effective agricultural solutions.
The event will feature a full day of lectures, panel discussions, and presentations by experts from the agtech and agri-food sectors. Highlights include the presentation of AgXis program grants, a showcase of agricultural technologies developed by companies supported by the Agtech Zone, participation from producers across various agricultural sectors, and a presentation by the coalition of partner funds.
Bringing together entrepreneurs, researchers, producers, investors, and public policymakers, the Grand Colloque Agtech du Québec aims to foster dialogue, accelerate innovation, and highlight the technological solutions transforming agriculture today and tomorrow. All participants share a common goal: promoting local innovation and equipping businesses to grow, accelerate their development, and actively contribute to Québec’s sustainable economic development.
