Toronto (Canada) – Rosalind H. Cooper has been appointed as a Fellow of the American College of Environmental Lawyers (ACOEL), a premier legal association in North America.
Membership in ACOEL is reserved for lawyers acknowledged by their peers as leading practitioners in the field. Of the College’s 320 members, only three are from outside the United States, and Cooper is now among them.

Cooper is widely recognized for her work in the environmental law space including handling environmental regulatory matters, litigating contaminated land disputes, defending environmental charges, and handling appeals of various environmental order and approvals.
Her achievements are celebrated in Chambers Global, Chambers Canada, Lexpert/American Lawyer Guide to the Leading 500 Lawyers in Canada, Best Lawyers in Canada, and Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory, including repeated recognition as Environmental Lawyer of the Year.
