Nicola Young is an associate in Fasken's Emerging Technology group.

Nicola completed her JD/MBA degree at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law and the Rotman School of Management. Prior to law school, Nicola completed a Bachelor of Arts in Economics at Brown University.

As a JD/MBA student, Nicola served as a volunteer for Law in Action Within Schools, as a teaching assistant for MBA courses in venture capital strategy and international economics, and as a JD/MBA Fellow at the Capital Markets Institute. Nicola has previously worked as a middle school math teacher and has spent summers working on international human rights research projects and advising start-ups at a seed-stage incubator. In her spare time, Nicola enjoys coffee shops, reading novels, traveling, and trying new fitness classes.

Nicola summered and articled with the firm and was seconded to Fairstone Bank of Canada and its affiliates.
