Overview

Nicole advocates for clients in complex and contentious disputes relating to validity of wills challenges, undue influence and incapacity claims, committeeship applications, unjust enrichment claims, breach of fiduciary duties cases, abuse of powers of attorney claims, breach of trust claims, the administration of trusts and estates and passing of accounts.

Remaining flexible and responsive to evolving case developments, Nicole’s primary focus as a litigator is implementing strategic solutions that align with her clients' goals. Prior to being called to the bar of British Columbia in January 2023, Nicole practiced as a barrister in South Africa for 11 years, where she managed a diverse civil litigation practice. She appeared in courts across South Africa, representing clients in trials, motions and appeals, often involving family law disputes as well as contentious commercial and breach of contract cases.
