Overview

Our Toronto office provides a full range of services, a reflection of the city’s position as Canada’s economic hub and home to many of our clients’ Canadian headquarters.

Fasken is deeply rooted in Toronto, where our office was founded in 1863. The office often hosts visiting clients and colleagues; our Bay Street location being centrally located within walking distance from other downtown offices and hotels, and is easily accessible from local airports.

Land Acknowledgement

At Fasken we have embarked on a journey of reconciliation, guided by our Reconciliation Action Plan. As part of this journey, we believe it is important to acknowledge the land and the people who have called this land home since time immemorial. Our Toronto office is on territory that has been the home of many nations including:

  • The Wendat (WHEN – Dat)
  • The Anishinaabe Nation (ah-nish-iNAH-beh)
  • The Haudenosaunee Confederacy, (HOED’NAH – Shownee)
  • The Chippewa, and (CHIP – eh – Wah)
  • The Mississauga of the Credit First Nations. (Mis – ih – SAW – Gah) Toronto is also covered by Treaty 13, signed with the Mississaugas of the Credit and the Chippewa.

We appreciate living and working here and recognize the importance of working to advance reconciliation between Indigenous and non-Indigenous people here and across Canada.
