Onalerona Phiri is a Partner in Fasken’s Finance and Projects practice group based in Johannesburg. He has considerable experience advising key financiers and sponsors regarding the financing and development of renewable energy projects, ranging from small-scale embedded generation (SSEG) systems to utility-scale energy facilities.
His practice involves drafting and reviewing financing agreements in single-lender funding transactions, syndicated financings, and project debt refinancing.
