Overview

Paolina Tosheva is an IP litigator, focusing on copyright and trademark disputes. She represents clients before the federal and provincial courts as well as before the Trademarks Opposition Board and the Copyright Board. She has a deep understanding of Federal Court litigation procedure and is often called upon to assist in cases beyond IP, such as language rights matters.

Paolina has solid experience in trademark prosecution. She accompanies clients in all stages leading up to trademark registration and offers strategic advice tailored to the client's business. Her trademark expertise also extends to official marks and certification marks.

Beyond litigation and trademark prosecution, Paolina is involved in various commercial and transactional matters. She has experience in drafting a wide variety of IP agreements, including licenses, assignments, NDAs, and more. She advises on complex IP issues in the context of transactions related to copyright, trademarks, trade secrets, and patents, among others.
