Overview

Peter Garrett is an associate in Fasken's Capital Markets and Mergers & Acquisitions group. He is engaged in a broad corporate/commercial and securities law practice, advising both private and publicly-held companies.

Peter graduated with a joint JD/MBA degree from Queen’s University Faculty of Law and Smith School of Business. At law school, Peter acted as Vice President of Administration of the Queen’s Law Student Society. Additionally, he acted as a Senior Editor of the Queen’s Law Journal and as a Tutor, as well as volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada. While in law school, Peter spent a semester on exchange in Paris.

Prior to law school, Peter obtained a Bachelor of Medical Sciences degree from Western University and spent his summers coaching tennis.

In his spare time, Peter enjoys running and fitness, playing tennis, and watching reality TV.

Peter summered and articled with the firm. As a summer student, Peter was seconded to Kensington Capital Partners Limited.
