Rami El Hama joined Fasken as a student after his second year of law school at the Université du Québec à Montréal.
During his studies, he served as Vice-President of the law students’ association at UQAM (AED) and distinguished himself in a number of competitions. In particular, he won the 2024 Coupe Brébeuf in debating, won first place individually in the Enjeux du droit competition, and received an individual award in a business law negotiation simulation competition.
He also oversees legal consultations at a community-based legal clinic (Clinique juridique de Saint-Michel) and chairs Poli-Jeunes, an organization he co-founded to promote civic engagement among young people.
Apart from his academic and professional commitments, Rami has a keen interest in literature, history and sports, especially soccer, which he plays regularly.
