Overview

Raphaëlle Maltais joined the Fasken team as a law student in 2023 and began practising with the Litigation and Conflict Resolution group in 2025.

She holds a Bachelor of Civil Law (LL.L., summa cum laude) from the University of Ottawa. During her studies, Raphaëlle enriched her university studies through a university exchange at Université Jean-Moulin Lyon 3 in France, where she broadened her legal and cultural perspectives.

While a student, Raphaëlle gained diverse legal experience with federal institutions such as the Copyright Board of Canada and the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission. She was also actively involved in Pro Bono Students Canada and contributed to student life as a member of the faculty’s sports committee.

Driven by her meticulous nature, professionalism and thirst for knowledge, Raphaëlle draws on her diverse experience and sharp analytical skills to effectively contribute to a wide range of litigation and dispute resolution matters.
