Robert Shek’s intellectual property practice is focused on providing strategic guidance in the field of trademarks, copyright and patents.
Robert is a lawyer and a registered trademark agent. He represents clients in all areas of technology, advising them on strategies for protecting and managing their intellectual property portfolios. As part of his practice, Robert places an emphasis on ensuring that his client’s intellectual property strategies align with their business objectives.
Robert assists clients with the drafting and prosecution of patent applications, covering a range of technologies, including software, and computer-related technologies. He also works with clients on issues involving patentability, validity, infringement, and enforcement of patent rights.
Prior to joining the firm, Robert worked at a Toronto intellectual property law firm. In addition, Robert has a background in Engineering, having previously been employed by major aerospace companies and defence contractors.
