Robin Spillette is the Student Recruitment and Talent Leader in Fasken’s Toronto office. Robin manages all aspects of the student program including onboarding and integration of summer and articling students, training, mentorship, and performance management. Robin is also responsible for managing the Firm’s recruitment activities with respect to summer and articling students.
Prior to joining the Student Recruitment and Talent team, Robin was an associate in the Firm’s Competition, Marketing and Foreign Investment Group assisting companies with a variety of competition and foreign investment law matters, including abuse of dominance investigations, deceptive marketing matters, merger review and clearance and national security investigations. Her practice also included advising clients on general corporate transactional matters. Robin also summered and articled with the Firm.
With a strong understanding of student recruitment from a lawyers perspective, Robin is attentive to the needs of a law students, articling students and lawyers alike. She is dedicated to creating mentorship opportunities that inspire growth and achievement for the students of the program.
Robin completed a JD and Master of Arts in Economics at the University of Toronto. Prior to law school, she completed an Honours Bachelor of Science in Statistics where she Graduated with Distinction from the University of Victoria.
