Rohat Jumani is an associate in the Capital Markets and Mergers & Acquisitions Group and is engaged in a diverse corporate/commercial and securities law practice.
Rohat advises public and private companies, investors and underwriters on a broad range of corporate, securities and commercial matters, including mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions and corporate governance matters. He regularly assists clients with acquisitions, dispositions, continuous disclosure obligations and general securities law matters.
Rohat graduated with an LL.B and an LL.M in International Commercial and Maritime Law from Swansea University, United Kingdom. He also holds a Global Professional LL.M in Business Law from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law.
Prior to moving to Canada, Rohat practiced law in Dubai and represented clients across various industries, including Oil & Gas, Education, Healthcare, Mining, and Technology.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Rohat is actively involved in community service. He has volunteered with an organization dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with disabilities, earning him the Duke of Edinburgh’s Gold Award.
