Sarah‑Élizabeth is an associate in the Intellectual Property group at Fasken’s Québec City office. She represents clients in a range of technology and commercial transactions relating to the ownership, protection, and regulatory matters, with a particular focus on life sciences, health, and food regulation.
She advises both established and emerging companies on the intellectual property aspects of mergers and acquisitions, financings, and strategic transactions. Sarah‑Élizabeth structures, drafts and negotiates a wide range of commercial agreements, including technology, trademark and know‑how licenses, service agreements, joint development agreements and other transactions involving intellectual property assets.
Sarah‑Élizabeth also advises pharmaceutical, medical device, consumer health, and food industry clients on regulatory and compliance matters. She assists clients in navigating the Canadian regulatory framework throughout the product lifecycle, including market access and product authorization, licensing and permitting requirements, advertising and promotional activities, and labelling and packaging compliance. She also advises on the regulatory aspects of corporate transactions involving regulated products and technologies.
