Sarah Holly is an associate in the Firm’s Labour, Employment and Human Rights Group in Toronto. She focuses her practice on labour and employment law matters, advising both unionized and non-unionized employers on a broad range of workplace issues.
Sarah is committed to providing practical, strategic, and solutions-oriented advice to assist employers with navigating complex workplace challenges while achieving their business objectives.
Sarah advises employers on a variety of labour and employment matters, including employment standards compliance, workplace policies and procedures, human rights obligations, occupational health and safety issues, and employment-related disputes. She works closely with employers to manage legal risk, respond to evolving workplace laws, and implement effective workplace practices tailored to their operational needs.
Before joining Fasken, Sarah articled at a national management-side labour and employment firm and began her legal career at an international management-side labour and employment firm, where she gained experience advising and representing employers in a variety of industries.
Sarah earned her Juris Doctor from Queen’s University, where she received the Queen’s Law Prize in Employment Law in 2022 in recognition of her academic achievement. During law school, she volunteered at Queen’s Legal Aid, assisting clients with a variety of legal matters while developing practical advocacy and client service skills.
Outside of her legal practice, Sarah enjoys hot pilates, exploring Toronto’s vibrant restaurant scene, and spending time with her energetic chocolate Labrador.
