Overview

Sarah Pineau is an associate in the Corporate/Commercial group at our Montréal office. Her practice encompasses all aspects of business law, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions (public and private), private equity, corporate finance and securities law.

Sarah Pineau holds a double degree in civil law and common law (BCL/JD) from McGill University, along with a Master’s degree in business law from the University of Montréal. During her graduate studies, she was a student researcher at the Observatoire du droit québécois des valeurs mobilières, where she expanded her experience in securities regulation and corporate governance. She is a member of both the Québec Bar and the New York Bar.

Before joining Fasken, Sarah advised a firm specializing in investment platform services on corporate and governance matters.
