Overview

Sébastien Cyr is an associate in Fasken’s Ottawa office and a member of the firm’s Labour, Employment & Human Rights group. He provides practical advice to employers to enable them to manage risk and address workplace challenges effectively.

Sébastien helps employers navigate the employment relationship with confidence, ensuring clients make informed decisions. He provides practical advice and assists with litigation related to labour and employment issues, including accomodation and human rights matters, discipline and termination.

He obtained both his Juris Doctor and a Bachelor of Arts in Ethics and Political Philosophy from the University of Ottawa. Throughout his legal studies, Sébastien worked as a research assistant for professors at the University of Ottawa and the Université du Québec en Outaouais.

Outside of his practice, Sébastien is actively involved in Ottawa's francophone improvisational theatre community.

Fluent in both French and English, Sébastien is proud to provide thorough and client-centered service in both official languages.
