Creative problem solving necessitates a depth of experience to identify and manage risk and overcome challenges that inevitably arise on complex transactions.

When we act for purchasers and vendors, we aim to avoid surprises. Complex deals have a lot of moving parts. Our team approach and experience at all levels ensure that your deal is done efficiently and with value-added advice. We spot potential obstacles and issues early on and address them in our negotiations at the outset of a transaction. Then, we collaborate with our clients to develop solutions and create a clear path to closing the transaction. Avoiding protracted negotiations is just one of the ways we meet client needs for timing, value and certainty.

Our experience includes acting for purchasers and vendors of all types of commercial and industrial properties, structuring of joint venture arrangements, leasing and other property related contracts, title searching and all other services related to purchases and sales of commercial real estate.

Our clients include real estate developers, pension funds, pension fund managers, financial institutions, foreign and domestic investors, REITs, insurance companies, Crown corporations, Crown agencies, hospitals, lenders, owners/operators and developers of office buildings, shopping centres, outlet centres, industrial projects, residential complexes and infrastructure projects.

Our offices across Canada can handle complex land acquisitions and dispositions, including portfolio transactions with properties in multiple jurisdictions.
