Overview

Simon has attended Université de Sherbrooke since 2016, where he obtained a Bachelor of Finance and is now completing law school.

He has professional experience in bank finance (Account Manager at Laurentian Bank of Canada) and in financial analysis and accounting (WSP Canada). He is currently pursuing his interests in areas related to the legal field. His career has also taken him to the intersection of business and law, including several hundred hours of research on legal risk management and emerging technology and their regulation.

Upon arriving at Université de Sherbrooke, Simon wanted to be an agent of change. This drove him to help found the Laboratoire d’innovation juridique. He continues to be involved in management on a weekly basis. His entrepreneurial spirit also led him to test the viability of a project combining taxation and innovation with the Accélérateur entrepreneurial Desjardins.

His social engagement has included volunteering for Justice Pro Bono, PennyDrops and Head & Hands Montreal.

Simon is an outdoor enthusiast who loves mountain hiking and fishing.
