On March 1, 2007, Harris Computer Systems, a leading provider of financial, customer and student information management software solutions for utilities, local governments and schools, announced that it had purchased PG Govern, a Rimouski software company, for a total price of approximately $25 million. PG Govern was advised in this transaction by a team from the Québec City office of Fasken Martineau comprised of Jean M. Gagné, Martin R. Gagné, René Roy, Ianny Xénopoulos and Christopher Gauthier assisted by students-at law Gabriel Chassé and Sophie Lessard-Berger.
