Royal Bafokeng Platinum was listed on Johannesburg Stock Exchange on 8 November, 2010. A total of 49,318,202 shares, representing a freefloat of 30.05%, were placed at a price of R60.50 a share, raising R2.98 billion. Based in Johannesburg, South Africa, Royal Bafokeng Platinum Limited is a subsidiary of Royal Bafokeng Platinum Holdings (Pty) Limited. They engage in the mining and production of platinum group metals in South Africa. Royal Bafokeng Holdings was advised by Fasken Martineau with a team that included Andrew Mitchell, Blaize Vance, Nicola Jackson, Jan Bouwman, Neil Searle, and Conor McFadden.
