Xstrata Zinc sells its interest in Vendome property to Abcourt Mines

On February 28, 2011, Abcourt Mines Inc. announced that Xstrata Canada Corporation – Xstrata Zinc Canada Division (Xstrata Zinc) had agreed to sell to Abcourt its interest in fifteen half claims, representing approximately 300 hectares, known as the Vendome property located in northwestern Quebec. This property is located on a 2,000-meter long zone owned in part by Abcourt and in part by Xstrata Zinc.The consideration is: 400,000 shares of the capital stock of Abcourt, 2 % net smelter return royalty on any production originating from the Xstrata Zinc property, and a right to purchase or treat any concentrate produced from the Xstrata Zinc property on competitive terms.Xstrata Zinc was advised in this transaction by Jean M.
