The Information and Privacy Commissioner had ordered that Economical Mutual Insurance Company give notice to all insureds going back to 2004. On judicial review, the Supreme Court of British Columbia accepted our argument that the remedy was not reasonable and also that there had been a failure to provide procedural fairness in the scoping of the inquiry.
