Orion Mine Finance completes royalty purchase from Talon Metals in respect of the São Jorge Gold Project, Brazil

On August 17, 2015, Orion Mine Finance completed a royalty purchased from Talon Metals Corp. to acquire a 1% net smelter returns royalty on the São Jorge Gold Project in Pará State, Brazil for US$1.9 million. Orion is a mining-focused investment business specializing in providing flexible capital investment solutions to junior mining companies in the base and precious metal sector. Orion has demonstrated capability in debt, equity, convertibles, offtake, streaming, and royalty investments. Fasken Martineau advised Orion with a team that included Johanna Fipke and Nancy Eastman.
