A consortium consisting of Placements CMI Inc., Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, Fonds de solidarité FTQ, Investissement Québec and the Québec Manufacturing Fund successfully completed the arrangement provided for under the Business Corporations Act (Québec) under which it acquired all of the multiple voting shares and subordinate voting shares of Manac Inc., a North American leader in the design and manufacture of specialized semi-trailers. A Fasken Martineau team led by Marie-Josée Neveu (mergers, acquisitions and private capital) advised the institutional investors (Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, Fonds de solidarité FTQ and Investissement Québec) in the course of this transaction. The team consisted of Marie-Ève Clavet (mergers, acquisitions and private capital) as well as Martin Racicot and Alexandre Gagnon (financing and banking transactions).
