On March 1, 2016, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC) announced that it will divest PwC Debt Solutions, the Atlantic Canada personal insolvency practice of PwC, to MNP LTD (MNP), the insolvency division of MNP LLP. As part of the transaction, MNP will acquire 35 professionals and support staff of the PwC personal insolvency practice located throughout 31 offices in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador.
