Granite Construction acquires LiquiForce

On April 3, 2018, in an all cash deal, Granite Construction Incorporated (NYSE:GVA) (“Granite”), one of America’s largest infrastructure contractors and construction materials producers, completed its acquisition of LiquiForce, a privately-owned company which serves public and private sector water and wastewater customers in both Canada and the United States. At the time of closing, LiquiForce had an approximately $40-million annual revenue run-rate business. Fasken acted as a Canadian counsel to Granite in its acquisition of LiquiForce with a corporate team comprised of Krisztian Toth and Elyse Velagic.
