Manulife Canadian Property in joint venture arrangement with Panattoni Development Company

In June 2019, Fasken acted for Manulife Canadian Property portfolio in connection with the formation of a limited partnership joint venture arrangement with Panattoni Development Company and the acquisition by the limited partnership of a 148 acre site located in Edmonton, Alberta. The joint venture plans to develop a class “A” industrial campus on the property of up to 1,300,000 square feet. Panattoni will act as development and property manager for the joint venture. The project will create a significant industrial campus in Edmonton. Manulife was advised by a team comprised of Marty Emmons, Allyson Roy and Niusha Arbabi.
