On August 11, 2020, FansUnite Entertainment Inc. (CSE: FANS) (OTC: FUNFF), completed the acquisition of Askott Entertainment Inc., becoming one of Canada's leading online game companies, focused on sports betting, esports wagering and casino games.
FansUnite acquired all of the outstanding securities of Askott by way of a three-cornered amalgamation pursuant to which Askott and a wholly owned subsidiary of FansUnite amalgamated under the Business Corporations Act (British Columbia) and continued as one company carrying on the business of Askott under the name "Askott Entertainment Inc.".
The acquisition allows FansUnite to accelerate their trajectory by providing customers with a broader range of betting options in the esports landscape in the fast growing gaming industry.
