On September 16, 2021, CGI Inc. (“CGI”) (TSX: GIB.A) (NYSE: GIB) completed a private placement offering of C$600 million aggregate principal amount of 2.100% senior unsecured notes due 2028. The Canadian dollar denominated senior unsecured notes were offered in Canada on an agency basis by a syndicate of agents led by Scotia Capital Inc., TD Securities Inc., CIBC World Markets Inc. and Desjardins Securities Inc.
The offering supplemented CGI’s private offering in the U.S. and Canada of US$1.0 billion in aggregate principal amount of senior unsecured notes, consisting of US$600 million aggregate principal amount of 5-year notes and US$400 million aggregate principal amount of 10-year notes, completed on September 14, 2021.
