We act as counsel to Encana with respect to Stoney Nakoda Nations’ claim regarding petroleum and natural gas rights that were originally transferred to Canadian Pacific Railway. The Stoney are claiming $450 million in regards to the petroleum and natural gas rights that they say should not have been transferred. We have taken over this file from Blakes which had M. McCachen.

Fasken advised Encana with a team led by Kevin O'Callaghan that included Charles Willms and Hannah Roskey.
