Tom Chong completed his civil law and common law degrees from McGill University.
Prior to law school, he completed a Master of Arts degree from Norman Paterson School of International Affairs (Carleton University) and a Bachelor of Science degree from St. Francis Xavier University. Previously, Tom volunteered at Concordia Student Union Legal Information Clinic where he was responsible for delivering critical legal information to clients from marginalized communities. At the Permanent Mission of Canada to the World Trade Organization, Tom worked on the negotiations at the 12th Ministerial Conference and supported the team in advancing Canadian interests at the world stage. During his free time, Tom likes reading and practicing foreign languages.
Tom summered with Fasken, during which he participated in the Firm’s Secondment Program.
