Valérie Deshaye is a member of the Litigation and Dispute Resolution group at the firm’s Québec City office. She practises civil and commercial litigation, with a focus on insurance law, latent defects and civil and contractual liability. Valérie provides customized legal advice based on the client’s needs and priorities, drafts pleadings and appears before the courts.
A graduate of Université Laval, Valérie clerked at the Court of Appeal under the direction of the Honourable Claude C. Gagnon and competed in the Laskin Moot Court Competition. She also worked as a teaching and research assistant for two professors in addition to co-authoring an article on business law. Valérie also holds certificates in philosophy and political science.
