Overview

Virginia Schweitzer practices in the areas of corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, securities, mining, energy and technology law.

Regularly advising clients on public offerings, including IPOs, in Canada and the United States, Virginia has also assisted with private placements for technology, biotechnology and mining clients. Her expertise also extends to negotiating mergers, takeovers and acquisitions on behalf of both public and non-public companies. Virginia also advises corporations (profit and non-profit) on matters related to corporate governance.

Acting for various public companies, Virginia has advised clients including Ur-Energy Inc., BluMetric Environmental Inc., Aura Silver Resources Inc., Enablence Technologies Inc. and Intouch Insight Ltd. She recently assisted Sidense Corp. on its sale to Synopsys, Inc., a NASDAQ listed company, and N-able Technologies International, Inc. (N-able) on its sale to SolarWinds WorldWide, LLC, a NASDAQ listed company, for US $120 million in an all cash transaction.
