William is an associate in the Corporate/Commercial Law group in our Montréal office. His practice encompasses corporate, securities and commercial law, with a primary focus on corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions, particularly in the manufacturing and mining sectors.
During his studies, William completed an internship with the corporate finance branch of the Autorité des marchés financiers (Direction du financement des sociétés). He then continued his development at an international firm, where he gained valuable experience in mergers and acquisitions and securities before joining the Fasken team.
William also completed a secondment with the commercial law department of a major telecommunications company. This experience enabled him to support the company’s internal teams while deepening his knowledge of commercial law and gaining a practical understanding of the operational needs of businesses.
