Ali Aziez joined the Fasken team in May 2022 after completing his bachelor’s degree in law at Université Laval.
Throughout his academic career, Ali sat on various boards, including the Board of Directors of the Association of Law Students of Université Laval as Secretary General and on the Council of the Faculty of Law as a student member.
During his last year of studies, Ali had the opportunity to intern at the judiciary of the Tribunal administratif du Québec, which enabled him to familiarize himself with the Québec judicial system, participating in numerous hearings and drafting various judgments, among other things. Alongside this internship, he was a finalist in the Coupe Denis Lemieux in the Tribunal-école en droit administratif.
Interested in the business world, he completed a training for aspiring entrepreneurs at the École d’Entrepreneurship de Beauce, thanks to a scholarship he received for his commitment. Moreover, he has written two directed research papers focusing on financial law as part of university courses, the first on SPACs and the second on leveraged buyouts and syndicated loans.
Finally, Ali is also a big fan of bourbon and cigars.
